Maldives Resorts: One & Only Reethi Rah

Vibe: Maldivian culture everywhere. This was the largest of the resorts I visited with 800 staff on property. 7 restaurants and 12 different beaches around the resort. Considered a 6 star resort.

Getting there: 30 min speed boat ride from the airport at Male (no seaplane needed)

Number of Rooms: 128 villa luxury resort features some of the largest over water villas in the Maldives

How I feel about the Rooms: the villas are wonderfully spacious (some of the biggest) and all guests can enjoy beautiful ocean views and easy access to the lagoons.

Highlights

All the restaurants are unique and very different. There was so many options. I loved Tapasake for Japanese cuisine. If you go in the evening you will spot sharks right next to your table! Also Botanica is the organic option with fresh vegetables grown right there! It was incredible to see!
Activity area with pottery making, art, soccer, cabana’s .. felt more like a little town!
Your room comes with a 30 minute photo session with a photographer! I loved this feature!
The spa was large with the full amenities and an oasis to relax. They also have a watsu pool!
