One of the easiest design elements to do this, is buying coffee table books that fit with your décor and also can be found in actual hotels.

There are few things more elegant than a Tom Ford, Chanel or Louis Vuitton book with their beautiful covers. Add a luxury candle (you might want a hotel branded one), a vase of flowers and you can transform a minimalist slate into something you would see from your favorite hotel.
