Quick & Simple Beach Resort Makeup Routine
Staying at a stunning luxury beach resort is a dream come true. The warm weather and natural beauty of the location make you want to embrace a laid-back, carefree vibe, but you also want to look your best while savoring those breathtaking moments. It's all about that effortlessly chic appearance, the kind that says, "I didn't do my makeup, but I still look amazing."
I want to share my simple beach-resort makeup routine that combines my favorite go-to products:
1) I always make sure to wear sunscreen to keep my skin protected and glowing. I'm obsessed with this Elta MD UV clear tinted one!
2) Over my sunscreen, I apply a very light layer of my favorite go-to foundation Giorgio Armani Luminus Silk in 5.5. I recommend using the Hourglass Vanish Foundation brush to make it go on smooth.
3) Then, I’ll add some concealer under my eyes to get that vacation fresh look with Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer. It's super weightless and doesn't crease!
4) I love a sun kissed look so I use the Lancome Foundation Stick in shade 510 which is DARK. I use it on my cheek bones, under my jawline, and along my hairline to contour!
5) I set it all with the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder which I apply with the Hourglass Brush.
6) I opt for a light brown shade of eye shadow to make my eyes pop! This Urban Decay Naked2 mini eyeshadow palette is fantastic for travel because it’s small and it has the best neutral shades.
7) I finish off the look with my all-time favorite blinc mascara (it's tubing mascara which I find is the ONLY type of mascara that doesn't smudge or give me raccoon eyes!
