The moment I departed The Maldives after my first trip 5 years ago, I started itching to go back and see if it was as incredible as I remember in my (day)dreams. Believe me when I tell you, as soon as I touched down, I was instantly reminded why it remains my favorite place on earth!

Despite the full-day journey from Park City, the warm Maldivian Hospitality that greeted me upon arrival swept away any trace of travel fatigue. I realized that the Maldives is more than a destination; it's a wonder of luxury within nature. A masterpiece of powdery sands and turquoise waters that instantly make you feel at home in paradise.

The Maldives may seem intimidating, but I’m here to tell you IT’S NOT!! There are about 160 resorts scattered throughout the Maldives, each with their own distinct theme, style and flair, but the consistent through-line is the high level of service and attention to your personal preferences.

Are you gluten-free? They’ll make you custom pastries each day.

Bringing the kiddos? The Kids’ Clubs are their personal summer camps. They might never want to leave.
