Jetset & Travel's Best Restaurants in Palm Beach:

Palm Beach is known for its sun, sand, and luxury, but the food scene there is just as impressive! We just got back from two weeks in Palm Beach County and, from upscale dining to casual bites, we’re sharing the top restaurants that we (and the locals) couldn't get enough of. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, these spots are must-tries.

1. Buccan

In my opinion this is the best restaurant in Palm Beach and has been since it opened in 2011. Buccan is a lively spot with a creative menu that blends small plates and bold flavors. Perfect for sharing, their dishes are innovative and their service is perfectly executed. The atmosphere is energetic, making it a fun night out with friends or great for an upbeat date-night. Located right in the heart of Palm Beach Island, no matter where you stay, this is easy to get to. Whatever you do, don't skip the Short-Rib Empanadas.

2. Meat Market

If you’re craving a high-end, high-energy steakhouse experience, Meat Market is the spot in Palm Beach. The bar is a full-on South Florida scene and gets busy with a Happy Hour crowd as early as 4PM all year long. Juicy cuts, top-notch sides, and a sleek, modern design make it a great choice for dinner that feels both indulgent and special. The Ribeye we ordered was perfectly cooked and one of the best I've ever had. Gouda stuffed Tator Tots are a can't miss!

3. Boulud Sud

We loved this spot when we stayed at The Brazilian Court, where it sits just off the hotel’s lush courtyard. Boulud Sud, from Chef Daniel Boulud, is upscale but feels relaxed and easy-going compared to some of the flashier Palm Beach restaurants. The coastal design gives it a relaxed Mediterranean feel and the food on the seasonally-changing menu is incredible. We started with fresh oysters and the octopus a la plancha, both beautifully prepared and even better with a glass of white from their extensive Wine Spectator–awarded list. For the best ambiance, sit outside on their terrace and enjoy a Palm Beach sunset!

4. Aoli

Aioli in West Palm is a light, casual and welcoming café-bakery that recently earned a coveted Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide for its consistency and value. It serves breakfast, lunch, dinners and the kitchen specializes in house-fermented sourdough breads, artisan pastries, soups, salads and sandwiches made from scratch. Get there early before they sell out of their famous Guava Pastelitos. Centrally located off-island in West Palm Beach, the spot channels a neighborhood bakery vibe with serious culinary pedigree.

5. Renato’s (Worth Avenue Lunch)

If you’re looking for quintessential Palm Beach elegance with Italian flavor, Renato’s is a charming spot hidden in the Via Mizner courtyard off Worth Avenue. With its wood-paneled dining room and romantic al fresco ambiance, it’s perfect for a leisurely lunch or a romantic dinner. House made pastas are their speciality and they pair perfectly with Renato's extensive wine list. Our personal experience with them was a perfect take-out pizza on the night we stayed in the hotel room for dinner.

6. Johnny G’s - Breakfast

Nothing kicks off a Palm Beach morning quite like breakfast at Johnny G’s...it's a Palm Beach institution. The menu runs from hearty classics to fresh, lighter options, making it an easy go-to whether you’re heading to the beach or easing into a slow morning. Their almond-crusted French toast is the standout and absolutely worth the order if you want something indulgent. We hosted my brother-in-law's wedding brunch there and everyone has been raving about it since!

7. HMF (The Breakers)

HMF at The Breakers is one of Palm Beach’s hottest spots for cocktails and a great night out. The space has a glamorous, old-Palm Beach feel with live music, a buzzing bar scene, and a crowd that's always fun and stylish. The menu leans into shareable favorites like Wagyu beef sliders and yellowfin tuna tartare, all paired with an impressive cocktail list and a standout wine collection. We partied here with our family the night after our wedding and loved the energy!

8. Spruzzo (Top of the Ben)

Spruzzo has the best view in West Palm Beach (IMO), sitting high atop The Ben Hotel rooftop with panoramic Intracoastal vistas overlooking Palm Beach Island. The menu leans Mediterranean with shareable bites, a solid raw bar, and a cocktail list that pairs well with the golden hour. The vibes can vary from DJ forward and energetic to post-work happy hour but it never feels pretentious. The lobster rolls topped with Ossetra caviar were a standout on our visit and absolutely worth the order.

9. Lola 41 (White Elephant)

If you’re in the mood for a great Palm Beach spot with a global twist, LoLa 41 is always a fun choice. Front and center at the White Elephant hotel, it blends a polished atmosphere with a menu inspired by the 41st parallel, pulling flavors from states and countries that occupy that latitude. You’ll even notice coins from those regions embedded into the sushi and cocktail bar, a quirky little detail that makes the space feel uniquely LoLa. The Wagyu beef tartare is our go-to here and one of the best we’ve had in town. It’s the kind of place where you pop in for a quick bite and end up staying longer because the energy is just that good.

10. RH Rooftop

If you’re after chic vibes with a cool twist, RH Rooftop sits atop the 4th floor of the RH West Palm gallery, offering a skylit garden-escape vibe with trickling fountains, heritage olive trees and soft natural light. The menu leans elevated-casual with timeless classics and thoughtfully curated wines—perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner in a setting that feels stylish without being overly formal. We loved the lobster roll with caviar (yes, really) and it paired so nicely with a chilled glass of champagne as we watched the golden hour fade into the West Palm sky.
