Top Luxury Hotels in Toronto

I just returned from a trip to Toronto… I know what you’re thinking: “Toronto in the middle of February?!” It doesn’t sound ideal. But, believe it or not, I was more than impressed! They have so many luxury hotels in this booming Canadian city. I was even there during the week and every night had packed & entertaining nightlife and the restaurants were filled! My personal favorite area is Yorkville. I found the town completely adorable.

If you’re here to enjoy the city, watch a hockey game or  baseball game (the Blue Jays!) or go close by to visit Niagara falls. Here is the scoop on the best places to stay and eat.

Here in Toronto, I’m breaking down the top hotels for you! Lucky for you I have relationships with them and can get you extra perks at ALL of them! Be sure to let me know when you plan to take a business or personal trip here!

Toronto is the where Four Seasons the brand originates from, and the corporate offices are close by (I got a behind the scenes tour while I was there). It is also the best option in my opinion out of all the luxury hotels. The original building was down the street and was built in the 1960’s but this new building is still new- opened in 2012. This also has to be the best spa in Toronto! It’s about 10 minutes from the downtown area and in a quite chic area of - the town of Yorkville which is filled with art galleries and designer luxury brands.

The first St. Regis in Canada, and it’s all about the glam luxury here including the signature butler St. regis service in each room. . Very modern rooms that offer the largest entry level guestroom size starting at 550 sqft  with bold black crystal chandeliers and bold accents of black and gold. The beautiful restaurant and bar reminisces a whisky bottle and has a scene during the weekend. The 2 bedroom suite is spectacular and a great spot to stay in the city.

Located in the heart of downtown, and great for business travelers in the financial district. Multiple restaurant and bar options and during season they even have a great outdoor patio with a scene! They will be going through a large renovation this year on rooms and the spa and everything will have a modern feel and look to it! They also have the only cheese cave room in Canada which features the best cheeses in Canada and international. You can also sit at what looks like a hole in the wall chefs table ☺

Shangri - La

Located in the heart of downtown with live music 7 days a week in what they like to call Toronto’s urban Living Room, you can see designer fashionable dresses on display and the beautiful spa including a hammam and multiple couples rooms. What I love is the lululemon yoga mat in each room and also a work out video on your TV designed to go with the type of room you are in!

  • Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability (excludes Specialty Suites)

  • Full Breakfast daily for up to two in-room guests, served in restaurant

Has that “members only” boutique vibe going for it and feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. Located in the chic town of Yorkville and walking distance to museums, art galleries and shopping. It’s been here for years and still remains one of the city’s iconic landmarks.
